About Health Will Matter

Health Will Matter partners with employers to reduce burnout risk, strengthen workforce resilience, and protect long-term performance.

We deliver structured, preventive workplace wellness strategies that integrate licensed mental health expertise with physical performance training.

Not reactive hotlines.
Not underused apps.
Not one-time workshops.

A coordinated system designed to stabilize performance before disruption spreads.

Workforce health is not separate from business performance.

It drives it.

Why We Exist

Health Will Matter was founded on a simple belief:

Mental health and physical health are not separate.

For more than 20 years, our work began in physical performance and rehabilitation training. Over time, one pattern became clear — stress, fatigue, and emotional strain directly affect physical capacity, focus, and productivity.

Burnout does not live in one dimension.

It shows up in energy levels.
In motivation.
In engagement.
In performance.

Most employers underestimate the financial exposure created by burnout and disengagement. The impact spreads quietly — rising healthcare costs, turnover, leadership fatigue.

We exist to help organizations address workforce strain before performance declines.

Not just through crisis response.

But through structured, preventive care that strengthens both mental and physical health.

Because sooner or later, health becomes the priority.

We believe it should be protected sooner.

Meet the Founder

Health Will Matter was founded by Craig Jones, MSW, MPH — a licensed clinical social worker and performance professional with more than two decades of experience in behavioral health and physical training.

His background bridges two disciplines that are often treated separately:

Mental health.
Physical performance.

Craig began his career in fitness and rehabilitation training, working in both personal and structured group environments, including military settings. Over time, he expanded into clinical mental health practice, providing psychotherapy to individuals addressing emotional and psychological challenges.

This dual foundation informs Health Will Matter’s preventive model.

His credentials include:

  • Master of Social Work (MSW), University of Maryland, Baltimore
Specialization in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)

  • Master of Public Health (MPH), George Washington University
Concentration in Exercise Science and Program Design

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (DC, MD, VA)

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology

This combination of clinical, public health, and performance expertise shapes our integrated approach to workforce wellness.

We do not separate mental capacity from physical capacity.

We strengthen both.

Our Philosophy

Workforce wellness should not be reactive.

It should be structured.

At Health Will Matter, our philosophy is built on four principles:

  • Crisis support is necessary.
But preventing burnout and performance strain reduces how often crisis occurs.

  • Mental health and physical health influence each other.
Workforce strategy must address both — not treat them separately.

  • Wellness is not a one-time seminar or app subscription.
It requires coordinated delivery, consistent engagement, and leadership alignment.

  • If workforce impact cannot be measured, it cannot be managed.
We support leadership visibility through structured reporting and organizational insight.

Health Will Matter Method

Our Integrated Model

Workforce strain is rarely one-dimensional.

Stress affects focus.
Fatigue affects decision-making.
Emotional pressure affects physical energy.

That’s why our model integrates both behavioral health and physical performance support into one coordinated system.

Health Will Matter delivers:

  • Licensed mental health professionals providing confidential, structured care

  • Certified personal trainers supporting physical capacity and energy management

  • A dedicated Wellness Director overseeing coordination and executive-aligned reporting

  • Relationship-based engagement designed to improve utilization and trust

This is not referral-only support.

It is an integrated delivery.

Our framework reflects the Eight Dimensions of Wellness — recognizing that burnout develops across emotional, physical, occupational, and social dimensions, not in isolation.

Support must be consistent to be effective.

When mental and physical health are addressed together, workforce stability improves.

And stability protects performance.

Who We Work With

Health Will Matter partners with employers who understand that workforce health directly impacts performance.

We work with:

01
Mid-Size Employers

Organizations are navigating growth, increased workload demands, and evolving leadership structures.

02
Enterprise Organizations

Companies are managing complex teams, distributed operations, and rising workforce risk exposure.

03
High-Demand Industries

Healthcare, professional services, technology, industrial operations, public sector, and other environments where sustained pressure is common.

04
Leadership & HR Teams

Decision-makers focused on retention, engagement, and operational stability — not just compliance benefits.

Our programs are designed for employers who view wellness as a performance strategy, not a feel-good initiative.

We are not built for low-engagement, transactional models.

We are built for organizations ready to strengthen workforce resilience through structured, preventive support.

What Makes Us Different

Many wellness providers offer tools.

We build systems.

Health Will Matter is designed differently:

  • We focus on early identification and structured intervention — not crisis-only support.

  • Licensed behavioral health professionals and certified performance trainers work within one coordinated framework.

  • Consistent contact improves trust. Trust improves utilization. Utilization drives impact.

  • Leadership receives structured, aggregate insight — supporting informed decision-making without compromising confidentiality.

  • We do not deliver isolated workshops or low-touch apps.
We deliver coordinated workforce support aligned with organizational goals.

Workforce pressure is not temporary.

It is structural.

Burnout, disengagement, and leadership strain do not appear overnight. They build quietly — until performance begins to slip.

Health Will Matter was built to intervene earlier.

To integrate mental and physical support.
To provide structure where fragmentation exists.
To align wellness with performance — not just benefits.

If your organization is ready to move from reactive support to a preventive workforce strategy, we’re ready to have that conversation.

Strengthen stability.
Protect performance.
Build resilience that lasts.
